When the De Young Museum is offering free general admission (plus art, music, lectures, cocktails, and others), you know it’s the best way to spend a Friday afternoon. We went there a couple of weeks ago, and enjoyed every exhibition. We’ve already been there, but this time the first place we went to was the Hamon Observation Tower. With a 360 degree panoramic view, we had the chance to watch the Golden Gate Park, downtown San Francisco, the Marin headlands and the Bay. And, of course, we stayed until the sunset. This is one of the best views we’ve ever seen of SF!
We decided to dress a little bit more elegant than usual. Dami wore a plaid shirt with some kind of acid wash jeans, a simple black belt and his Nike sneakers (we had to walk a lot, so comfortable shoes were a must!). I really wanted to wear my giraffe print booties from Urban, which I got for less than $20 on my birthday. That’s why I chose to put on my leather vest, a cute white top and my Gap straight jeans. Funny story: these jeans were the first piece of clothing I bought when I met Dami, in Manchester, VT.
Soon we’ll start more adventure posts, so keep an eye on the blog for more San Francisco posts! Have a great weekend xx
